Important Information about your stay at Black Bear Lodge!

We are following the CDC (Center for Disease Control and Prevention) Guidelines regarding resort/hotel policies during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Upon arrival at the Black Bear Lodge, please help everyone stay safe and have just one person from your party check in at the front desk.

We ask that you practice social distancing, and stay six (6) fee apart from others.

We recommend wearing masks when possible for everyone’s safety.

We do not offer any sort of housekeeping services during this time. Your lodging accommodations are cleaned and ready for your arrival. If you require extra towels, toilet paper, etc, then please call or stop by the front desk office between the hours of 8:00AM and 5:00PM.

Our staff will not enter your unit while you are here unless absolutely necessary. If a situation arises and it becomes necessary for us to enter your unit, for everyone’s safety, please continue to practice social distancing measures.

We are requiring a minimum of 24 hours in between each guest stay.

We have removed all comforters from the beds in all units, and exchanged them for blankets that are laundered after each guest stay.

We are cleaning our units with both a bleach solution, and disinfectants.

We have bleach available in cabinets in all units with instructions on how to sanitize silverware, glassware, and dishes.

IMPORTANT NOTE REGARDING YOUR LINENS, TOWELS, AND BLANKETS: You will find a gray bag in your unit, and a garbage bag. At the end of your stay, please put all linens and towels in the gray bag, and put all blankets in the garbage bag. We ask that you please keep these items separated as described above to help ensure our staff’s safety and to ensure the linens and towels stay separated from the blankets. We will charge $50.00 for each bag that has not been used if linens, towels, and blankets are not placed in their proper bag.


Please be sure to REMOVE ALL GARBAGE from your cabin/unit before departure. We will charge $50.00 for each bag that we need to remove from your condo or cottage. We have dumpsters located around the property, and their locations are marked on your Property Map.


If you are staying in a Lodge Home (Condo), please be sure to load your dishwasher, add cleaning agent, run your dishwasher, unload the dishwasher, and put everything back in the cabinets before you check out of your Lodge Home (Condo).

If you are staying in a Cottage or Suite, please be sure to read the “How To” sanitation directions in your unit, and be sure to clean and sanitize all cookware, cooking and dining utensils, glassware, etc. that you have used while you are here, and place back in the cabinets when they are clean and dry.


Please feel free to send in your family fun photos or short videos to gm@blackbearlodge.com. When you submit your photos and videos, you understand and agree that Black Bear Lodge has your permission to use your photos for marketing purposes. We will determine who the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place winners are next Spring, and contact you if you are one of the winners. We thank you in advance for participating in our contest.


We are happy to offer complimentary Wi-Fi service to our guests. However, please understand that Wi-Fi service in the Northwoods is quite limited. We ask that you please be considerate of other guests, and do not do any streaming of any kind as it drastically affects the Wi-Fi service here. Guests and Management thank you for your cooperation.


If you would like to re-book your Condo or Cottage for the same time frame next year, then please stop by or call us between the hours of 8:00AM and 5:00PM during your stay. If possible, please re-book your Condo or Cottage for next year prior to checking out as our check out times are quite busy in the office. Thank you for your understanding.
