When summer turns to fall in the Northwoods, you will surely know it. Fall brings an array of autumn colors and crisp, fresh air.

As with any season, fall is also a preferred season to venture north to enjoy a variety of festivals, craft shows and fishing tournaments that highlight the weekends.

Canoeing, Kayaking & Tubing
With an abundance of rivers, steams and lakes, the waters surrounding Black Bear Lodge are the ideal place to begin your next water adventure. Guests receive complimentary use of our canoes and kayaks, based on availability.


Fishing
Come and see why the Northwoods is considered to have some of the best freshwater fishing in the nation! Being one of the most concentrated lake regions in the world, waters surrounding Black Bear Lodge is prime for a fishing or boating adventure. Little St. Germain Lake is host to muskie, walleye, northern, bass and a variety of panfish.
Fishing season begins the first Saturday in May
